A little clarity

Before it joins your day.

When can I get Dot for iPhone?

Dot for iPhone is coming to the U.S. App Store. A public release date has not been announced. You can request an email when it launches below.

Is the Mac app included? Does it sync?

Dot for iPhone is a separate, standalone purchase. You do not need a Mac to use it. The first iPhone release does not pair or sync with Dot for Mac.

Will the assistant work on my iPhone?

The organizer requires iOS 26 or later. The optional assistant additionally requires a supported device and system configuration where Apple’s on-device Foundation Model is available. iOS 26 alone does not guarantee AI availability. Tasks, schedules, reminders, and routines work without it.

Does Dot use a cloud model or require an account?

No Dot account is required. Ordinary organizer use is local, and the iPhone assistant has no hosted-model fallback. The App Store download and any email you choose to send require a connection.

Can I back up my organizer?

Yes. Dot offers encrypted backup and readable export. Keep the encrypted backup’s recovery key separately. Readable exports are unencrypted after leaving Dot; their destination is your choice. We do not hold a server copy of your organizer.
